ECD

Before any real estate purchase, the owner must give you the Energy Performance Diagnosis of the dwelling. Valid for ten years, it informs you about the characteristics of the building, the annual amount of energy consumed or even the amount of greenhouse gas emissions. In short, the DPE is essential to know the energy consumption of its property and to consider the work necessary to improve its performance.

Other diagnoses

Seven other diagnostics are appended to the DDT technical diagnostics file of a sales agreement. They make it possible to take stock of the health of the asset and to detect any faults. These diagnoses concern: termites, gas, natural and technological risks, sanitation, lead, electricity and asbestos.

If you have planned to restructure the interior of your home, it is necessary to call on an architect. His role will of course be to give you ideas for development and to provide solutions for specific projects, but an architect can also help you estimate the work, or even help you select companies and quotes.

To correctly assess the amount of your work, call on several craftsmen for the same position. It's up to you to present your projects to them, to request quotes and to compare the offers with each other.
