The Porto Social Summit took place on May 7 and 8, 2021, under the Portuguese Presidency of the European Union (EU). It brought together the Heads of State and Government of the Member States, the President of the European Commission and the Commissioners with competences in the social field, the President of the European Council, the President of the European Parliament, the representatives of the political groups of the European Parliament, European social partners and representatives of civil society.
